Alessandra is an illustrator and graphic designer based in New York. She was born in Italy and completed her studies at the European Institute of Design in Rome, specializing in illustration. After her degree, she moved to Milan, where she worked for some advertising agencies as storyboard artist and visualizer, graphic designer and photoretoucher.
In 2008 she moved to Cape Town and she started her collaboration as illustrator with Educat/Chart Studio, a children’s books publisher and Sparxmedia. At the same time she continued to study in order to improve her skills in 3d modeling and character design. For instance in 2009 she completed the course Introduction to Maya with Gnomon On Line (LA), The Creature and Character design class, Schell Sculpture Studio (LA), Mudbox and Zbrush course, School of Visual Arts, NY.
She is currently working as illustrator for Rosielabs, advertising company (NY) and also collaborating with Sparxmedia and Educat/Chart Studio. She likes working with pencils, watercolors, oils, photoshop, illustrator. She’s interested in portraits, as well as fantasy and fashion illustration.
