Hi, my name is Sandile Stamper. I was born and bred in a township called Soshanguve, North of Pretoria. This is where a lot of my imagination and love for anything Art and design started. I’ve had a passion for Art ever since I could watch cartoons and got my first colouring book. Let me just say I’ve always loved art and leave it at that, before I start to sound like a cliché.

In high school I decided to pursue Art as a career. After completing my Matric, I went on to obtain my Degree in Multimedia at the Tshwane University of Technology (Arts Campus). During my study time at TUT, I went on an exchange programme in the Netherlands for six months at a university called Saxion. A couple of class mates and I worked on a 3D animated short, where I came up with character designs, storyboards, and background modelling. The part I enjoyed the most was the concept stage where I was responsible for the sketches.

I’m currently working as a freelance artist. When I’m not drawing I’m usually hanging around with my friends and family. Other things I enjoy doing are, skating, listening to cool music, watching stand up comedy and Playing video games ( in my spare time).

In terms of my career, I’m looking to build strong relationships with the right people, have some kind of impact in the Art and Design world and have some fun while doing it.
