I was born on June 18th 1984 in Rustenburg where I also attended Rustenburg Primary school as well as Rustenburg Highschool. After my matriculation in 2002, I went to Pothcefstroom to get my degree in Graphic Design at Northwest University (Pukke). In my final year of study in 2006 I won Silver at the Sappi Thinkahead awards for best portfolio and was a finalist in the 2007 Loerie Awards.
In 2007 I got my first job as a graphic design lecturer at the Design school of Southern Africa in Pretoria. While working at DSSA I also started working as a freelance illustrator, illustrating for companies such as De Kat magazine, Mastars & Savant and Nuance Multimedia.
Currently I am an English teacher in Taiwan and still enjoy doing freelance illustration in my free time.
