In 1992 I graduated from Wits with a BA in Industrial Psychology and English and then completed a diploma in Copywriting from AAA school of advertising in 1993. In 1994 I joined Partnership in Advertising as a copywriter. In 1997 I moved to Ogilvy and Mather Jhb, also as a writer.

In 1998 I cycled from the UK to Spain on a bicycle. When I returned I joined Publicis Cape Town as a Copywriter. I worked on above the line campaigns for Castle Lager, Fedsure , Ricoffy, British Airways, 702, Amarula, Nescafe, Maggi, amongst others. At Partnership in Advertising I wrote a British Airways TV commercial that ran internationally for 9 years. In 1999 I won two Silver Loeries for a 702 newspaper campaign I did at Ogilvy.

In 1999 I moved to Plettenberg Bay and started training myself in consciousness and cartooning. I worked on an Organic vegetable farm for four years. I now maintain a nursery in Plettenberg Bay, and specialise in comics and T shirt design. I collaborated with animator Mike Scott on the popular "Sempowenis" t -shirt design. I run my blog, happychickensuicidecult.com, which has been going since 2007.
