ABOUT SPARX ILLUSTRATORS:
The agency was established in Cape Town in 1998.
Initially representing South African illustrators, cartoonists, animators and storyboard artists, we later started taking on artists from other African countries, including Zimbabwe, Congo and Nigeria as well as a number of European artists.
Our primary focus is on African styles, techniques and subject matter, however many of the artists are highly competent in a range of styles, from slick photorealism to loose quirky cartoons.
The artists work in a range of media from traditional to digital and have their own areas of specialisation, for example people, wildlife, the environment and maps.
Clients brief the artists directly and we guarantee highly competitive rates and the delivery of excellent work on time.
