I am a Cape Town based children's book and magazine illustrator open to any kind of publication projects. I graduated with a Btech degree in Graphic Design at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2008, Cum Laude.

During my studies I trained under internationally renowned illustrator, Piet Grobler. From 2009 I started working as a children's book illustrator. In 2011 I won my first ATKV woordveertjie award for my illustrations in the picture book, Karla Krullebol.

I have done work for Oxford University Press, Mascew Millar Longman, Pearson, Cambridge University Press, Via Afrika, NB Publishers, Lapa Publishers and many more organizations.

I almost mainly work digitally on a Wacom Cintiq Tablet, but I like to combine digital with traditional media as well on certain projects. I use Adobe photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and sometimes Adobe Indesign. My passion for pictures drives me and I treat each project like a new artwork that deserves respect and attention. It's in my nature to work to completion in accordance to the preference of the client.
